# Codex Skills (codexskills.dev)

> An independent directory of 872 free, MIT-licensed Agent Skills for OpenAI Codex (CLI, IDE extension and app). Each skill is a SKILL.md playbook (workflow, decision tables, commands, pitfalls, verification) that installs into ~/.agents/skills/ or a repository's .agents/skills/, where Codex discovers it automatically.

Codex Skills is an independent, community-run directory. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI. "OpenAI" and "Codex" are trademarks of OpenAI, used here only to describe the tool these skills are written for.
