Embedded & IoT skills for Codex
Skills for code that runs on hardware: Arduino sketches, ESP32 firmware with deep sleep and OTA, Raspberry Pi projects, MicroPython, Zephyr and FreeRTOS, embedded C and Rust, STM32 HAL, MQTT and BLE devices, Home Assistant automations and KiCad basics.
curl -fsSL codexskills.dev/install.sh | sh -s -- --category embedded Installs all 15 into ~/.agents/skills/. Or download the zip.
All 15 Embedded & IoT skills
Each opens the full SKILL.md, example prompts and every way to install it.
-
Arduino Sketches
Sketches that run for weeks, not minutes -
BLE Devices and GATT
GATT profiles phones actually reconnect to -

MQTT for IoT
Topics, QoS and ACLs that scale past ten devices -
PlatformIO
Pinned firmware builds with tests that run in seconds -
Raspberry Pi Projects
Pi projects that boot, restart and survive power cuts -
STM32 HAL and CubeMX
Regenerate the .ioc without losing a line -
Zephyr RTOS
Devicetree and Kconfig instead of hard-coded pins
No Embedded & IoT skill matches that.
Where to start
Install the ones that match requests you make every week. Name one with $esp32-firmware when you want it for sure; otherwise Codex picks by description.

Embedded & IoT FAQ
How do I install every Embedded & IoT skill at once?
Run curl -fsSL https://codexskills.dev/install.sh | sh -s -- --category embedded to put all 15 in ~/.agents/skills/, or add --project to install them into the current repository's .agents/skills/. You can also download the category zip and unpack it yourself.
Does installing 15 skills slow Codex down?
Hardly. At startup Codex sees only each skill's name and description, a few dozen words apiece, and reads a full SKILL.md only when a task needs it. Install the whole category if the work fits; unused skills cost almost nothing.
Which Embedded & IoT skill should I start with?
Start with ESP32 Firmware, Arduino Sketches, BLE Devices and GATT. They cover the requests that come up most in this category. Mention one with $esp32-firmware to try it.
